To earn an athletic scholarship, student-athletes must meet specific academic and athletic standards that vary by NCAA division and sport. These high school scholarship applicants also need to demonstrate a high level of athletic skill and dedication while maintaining good academic standing.
First Choice Athlete High School Scholarship
Annually, 'FCA' will award a $1000 athletic scholarship to one High School Male athlete and one High School Female athlete who meet the following student-athlete requirements: graduating senior status, participation as a varsity athlete, a minimum GPA of 3.0, community involvement, and a passion for their sport. Additionally, applicants must submit a 750-word essay titled 'Why Should We Choose You' and include a recommendation from their coach.
